| No-Link is essentially a "Redirection
Script" that will redirect people to a file when a link pointing to this script is clicked on, like a link to http://www.wilter.com/ehack/nolink.pl?phreak/phreakazoid.zip would bring up the file. It keeps people from linking to your files by requiring that the Referer (document housing the link) be one of those defined in the script, if it isn't, it gives an error message and logs the error to a file that you can later check. Another plus with this script is that you can frequently change your file structure (put stuff in diff directories) and not have to change the links to the files, you just have to change the $path variable in the script to point to the right place. |
