Bart embarrasses Principal Skinner by altering a weather balloon to make it look like Skinner's bare bottom. While helping Skinner map the stars, Bart discovers a comet, which is discovered to be on a collision course for Springfield.

Marge catches Bart writing his name in wet cement. Outraged by this act of vandalism and his lack of good oldfashioned town pride, Marge reminds her family that Springfield is a part of everyone who lives within its borders. Marge's lecture gets to Bart who begins to take pride in his community when the neighboring town takes Springfield's lemon tree. Bart leads his crew into Shelbyville to get it back.

128 "Who Shot Mr. Burns? (1)"
