Synopsis:

While spending some R&R time on Argelius II Scott is found near the body of a slain dancer.  Put on trial it is up to Kirk, Spock, and McCoy to find out what really happened and save Scotty from the death penalty.

This episode could easily appear on Night Gallery, or Twilight Zone.   The only really poor twist to the whole episode is that Scotty just happens to be represented by the man who hosted the creature from Rigel IV.   Aside from that this is a pretty interesting and very macabre story.
