Synopsis:

A shuttle carrying Dr. McCoy, Capt. Kirk, Spock, and Assistant Federation Commisioner Nancy Hedford is brought down to a planet by a mysterious energy cloud. There they meet Zephram Cochrane and his "companion". 

This episode is acceptable but I find it to be slow and not very challenging.   It did introduce us to Zephram Cochrane which has been carried on by other shows, especially the movie, First Contact.  Aside from that not much of import happens and the ending is easy and contrived.
