Synopsis:

Investigating the disappearance of all life in the Malurian system the Enterprise is attacked by strong bolts of energy from a small vessel.  When Kirk hails the vessel the attack stops and Nomad responds.

This show has some interesting things to recommend it.  The long boring shots of Nomad going down the corridors are not one of them.   Still the final solution and the plot of the show are fairly interesting.   This show demonstrates the problems when mixing two computer systems together and trying to get them to work right (all shell programmers take note).
