Synopsis:

During a mission to Pyris VII the Enterprise crew come upon a strange Halloween type environment.  I turns out the this is the doing of a race of creatures who are exploring this are of space and have found that humans have something to offer them.   The race has a powerful tool which it uses to enslave the Enterprise and her crew.

I don't know how many times the Enterprise has been saved by Kirk flirting with or bedding an enemy.    This is one of them though.    Although towards the end when he is caught she turns into one pissed off pussy cat (literally).   I also felt that the power of the transmuter seemed to change.  If it was so powerful why did she turn herself into a cat, why not just wipe out Kirk instead.   Still, this show has some very good parts but it is certainly not one of my favorites.
