Synopsis:

When the crew rescues a drifting shuttle, they discover its pilot is an unconscious Capt. Picard from six hours in the future. The shuttle's logs show that the destruction of the Enterprise is caused by an energy vortex. When the point comes for the Enterprise to encounter the vortex, Picard does the opposite of the future Picard to save the ship.
