Synopsis:

Responding to a series of bizarre messages from the USS Tsiolkovsky the Enterprise arrives to find the entire crew dead, apparently from their own behavior.    The Tsiolkovsky had been monitoring a stars collapse from a red giant to a white dwarf.   After returning LaForge starts to act weird as does anyone he contacts.  Looking in the archives Riker and Data find historical references to this type of behavior from the original Enterprise.   Dr. Crusher administers the prescribed cure only to find that this sickness is similar, not exact.   Now it is a race against time to find a cure before someone does something really stupid, or is it already too late.
