Synopsis:

The Enterprise is pursuing a starship or Ferengi design that has stolen an energy converter from an abandoned Federation outpost. The Ferengi, who have yet to be encountered by the Federation, slow down and enter orbit of a planet that immediately drains the Enterprise and the Ferengi ship of power. The Enterprise crew soon find that there is a strange energy field that is draining their ships. An away team is sent down to the planet and the team soon finds that the planet was an ancient outpost of the T'Kon Empire. After Commander Riker talks with the gatekeeper, he agrees to let go of the Enterprise and sends them on their way.
