Synopsis:

This is the first episode with everyone's favorite mother, Lwaxana Troi. Lwaxana comes aboard the Enterprise froDeanna's wedding. Deanna Troi has been betrothed to Wyatt Miller. Meanwhile, the Enterprise is responding to a distress call from the planet Haven, a beautiful world that is being threathened by the survivors from the biologically devastated world of Tarella that wish to make planetfall on Haven. Since Haven is a Federation world, the Enterprise must protect them from the Tarellians "wish." Wyatt soon finds that the woman he really loves is one of the survivors from the Tarellian ship, and goes off with them to find a cure for their disease.
