Synopsis:

The Enterprise arrives around Ligon II to obtain a rare vaccine that is needed by another planet.  Beaming aboard the Enterprise the head of the Ligonian delegation, Lutan, surprises Picard by kidnapping Lt. Yar and beaming back down.    Soon the crew realize that according to Ligonian customs Lutan has done something heroic and Picard must now ask for Yar back.   The request is refused, Lutan needs Yar for his own purposes and unless Picard plays along he will get neither Yar nor the vaccine.
