Synopsis:

The Enterprise stops at Starbase 74 for an upgrade to her systems. While undergoing her upgrade, teams of Binars, a very intelligent race that is totally intertwined with computers helps speed up the process. After sticking Command Riker in the modified holodeck, they set an eloborate plan to steal the Enteprise. They do, and all the crew must be evacuated. The Enterprise soon leaves with no one on board-no one that is except Command Riker and Capt. Picard. Riker and Picard soon find that the Binars need the Enterprise's large mobile computer to receive the Binar's main computer data. The Binar's homeworld, Binus is going to endure a nova, and they need the Enterprise's computer to carry their information until they can ride out the nova. Capt. Picard and Commander Riker soon find what the Binars want and do it before their whole civilization dies.
