is on an undercover mission for Starfleet
Intelligence on Farius Prime. His job is to
infiltrate the Orion Syndicate in order to learn
the identity of their contact in Starfleet.
O'Brien gets himself into the good graces of a
man named Bilby. Eventually, O'Brien is able to
identify the traitor, but also learns that the
Orion Syndicate is working with the Dominion to
assassinate the Klingon ambassador to Farius.
With Bilby slated to be the trigger man, O'Brien
must betray either Starfleet or his friend.
