History:

The Dreadnought Class Missile was built to get rid of a Maquis supply depot. Maquis personnel captured this missile and repromgrammed its computer to take commands from them. The Dreadnought was equipped with photon as well as quantum torpedoes, a terrorizing plasma wave weapon, and enough antimatter aboard to destroy a small moon. The shields on the Dreadnought are programmed to adapt to different weapons. The computer aboard is one of the most advanced Cardassian models ever constructed. It is made to make decisions on its own. There is no crew on the Dreadnought because of this computer. The Dreadnought was built to fight its way through enemy lines and go to its target and destroy. It is not known if the Dreadnought Class is in full mass production, but Starfleet will fear the day when it is-to sum it up, the ultimate weapon.



Note: The Drednought was first seen in the Delta Quadrant where the Starship Voyager intercepted it. The reason Starfleet knows of the Dreadnought and all other ships on here is because of the Hirogen Communications Network when the EMH from Voyager told Starfleet Command of everything Voyager has gone through. As far as everything beyond that, such as the discovery of the USS Dauntless, well, let's just say that our old friend Q keeps an eye on the Voyager for some strange reason and filled it necessary to tell us about everything that has happened after the Doctor's briefing. :-)
